Tru-Incise™ Valvulotome

The Tru-Incise Valvulotome is a non-mechanical device that provides the flexibility of interchangeable cutting heads to allow appropriate head sizing for varying vessel diameters and procedure application. The system also features patented thru-head irrigation to minimize vessel wall contact during head advancement and for retrograde hydrostatic valve activation. Each cutting head has four angled blades designed to disrupt valve leaflets while minimizing intimal wall contact. To minimize undue stress applied upon the vein wall, the leader bulb is the same size/diameter as the cutting head.
